Chicopee Comp has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the East Longmeadow Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Monday, Chicopee Comp came up short against Pittsfield and fell 56-46.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-34, which was the final score in East Longmeadow's tilt against Pittsfield on Friday. East Longmeadow was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-13.
Chicopee Comp now has a losing record at 1-2. As for East Longmeadow, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Chicopee Comp was able to grind out a solid win over East Longmeadow in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 51-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chicopee Comp since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
