Despite the defeat, Trinity Christian Academy had strong showings from Haylee Morelli, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, and Kaylin Spor, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals. That was a full 55.2% of Trinity Christian Academy's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Trinity Prep's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Father Lopez 49-9.
Trinity Christian Academy now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Trinity Prep, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-10.
