For the first time this season, Susquehannock will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will take on the Biglerville Canners at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their  matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Susquehannock barely beat Northeastern the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors' pitcher stepped up to hand the Bobcats  a   10-0 shutout  on Monday. The Warriors have beaten the Bobcats the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bobcats has come to flipping the script.

 Ella Wetzel made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  doubles and two  RBI. Those  two  doubles gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Callie Shue was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. She also put up a  double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Bella Higgins, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 Susquehannock  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northeastern only posted  an  OBP of  .316.
Meanwhile, Biglerville entered their tilt with Pequea Valley on Wednesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Braves 15-1. Considering the Canners have won ten games by more than six  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Sydney McCleaf made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. McCleaf was also stellar in the batter's box,  firing off two  home runs, three  runs,  and four  RBI while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Paige Slaybaugh, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs.  Ava Peterson was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Biglerville pushed their record up to 14-4 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Susquehannock, their record now sits at 12-5.
 Susquehannock couldn't quite finish off Biglerville when the teams last played  back in May of 2024 and fell  4-2. Can the Warriors avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
