Balko has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Felt Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Balko's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Balko has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Tyrone on Tuesday as Balko made off with a 57-37 victory.
Balko's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Halle Littau, who scored 13 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds. Littau is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Estrella Martinez, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Felt came up short against Tyrone on Friday and fell 57-47.
Their wins bumped Balko to 3-0 and Tyrone to 1-3.
Everything came up roses for Balko against Felt when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 63-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Balko since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
