Lewis-Palmer got a good showing from Jake Provencio, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Provencio has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jansen Roberts was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, seven RBI, and two runs. Those seven RBI gave him a new career-high. Nate Glad was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Cheyenne Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Thomas Jefferson only posted an OBP of .429.
Cheyenne Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That lines up perfectly with their 7-1-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Lewis-Palmer, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
Lewis-Palmer came out on top in a nail-biter against Cheyenne Mountain when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 8-6. Will the Rangers repeat their success, or do the Red-Tailed Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
