Galena is 0-3 against Clever since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Galena Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Clever Blue Jays at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Galena is ranked 380th, while Clever is ranked 376th).
Galena suffered their biggest defeat since November 17, 2023 on Friday. Their rough 64-43 defeat to School of the Ozarks might stick with them for a while. Galena's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, Clever's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marionville.
Galena now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Clever, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Galena took a serious blow against Clever in their previous meeting back in January of 2018, falling 88-61. Can Galena avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
