The Sale Creek Panthers won the last time they faced the Grace Baptist Academy Golden Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Sale Creek walked away with a 52-45 victory over Grace Baptist Academy.
Sale Creek was led to victory by Chelsea Levi and Trinity Smith. Levi scored 13 points along with six rebounds, while Smith dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.
Sale Creek's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Grace Baptist Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sale Creek's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Sequatchie County at 6:30 p.m. on January 9th. Grace Baptist Academy will take on Dalton Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
