The Highland Park Giants scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Niles West by a score of 58-49. The victory was just what Highland Park needed coming off of a 52-21 defeat in their prior match.
Highland Park's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mckenzie Reitmayer, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The match was Reitmayer's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kourtnie Halperin, who scored 15 points along with five assists.
Highland Park is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Niles West, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8.
