The team relied heavily on Ava Lim, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kylar Navarro, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI.
Meanwhile, Auburn Mountainview has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.06 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They walked away with a 16-12 win over Federal Way. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Mia Heigh was incredible, firing off two home runs and seven RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Brynna Erdmann was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
Auburn Mountainview lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Enumclaw's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Auburn Mountainview, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Enumclaw has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .591. However, it's not like Auburn Mountainview struggles in that department as they've averaged .561. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
