The East Palestine Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 79-63 victory over Academy for Urban Scholars. The victory was just what East Palestine needed coming off of a 70-32 defeat in their prior game.
East Palestine's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from RJ May, who scored 26 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points May has scored all season. Owen Jurjavicic was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds.
East Palestine's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Academy for Urban Scholars, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
East Palestine will look to defend their home court on Friday against East Liverpool Christian at 6:45 p.m. Hopefully East Palestine focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. Academy for Urban Scholars will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Hubbard at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th.
