This season hasn't been kind to the Centennial Apaches, who are still winless after their sixth game. They fell  57-45 to Lakeside on Wednesday.
 It was another big night for  Maurice Turner, who  dropped  a double-double on 23 points and 18  rebounds for Lakeside. The  game was  Turner's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Andrew Knudson, who  scored 6 points along with 6  rebounds.
 Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Lakeside,  the  win  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Centennial will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Leuzinger at 6:30  p.m.  on January 3, 2024. Lakeside's road trip will continue as they head out to face Chino Hills at 7:30  p.m.  on December 1st. Chino Hills knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully Lakeside likes a good challenge.
