Having just played yesterday, the Chillicothe Hornets will get right back to it and host Kauffman at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. The timing is sure in Chillicothe's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while the have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
On Monday, Chillicothe strolled past the with points to spare, taking the game 52-35.
Chillicothe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but James Mathew led the charge by scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds. Mathew hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaishon White, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
In what's become a running theme this season, Kauffman gave their fans yet another huge win last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Southeast 57-22 at home.
Chillicothe has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Kauffman, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
