Weston is 6-1 against Union Parish since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Farmers at 5:30 p.m. Union Parish took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Weston, who comes in off a win.
Weston is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Castor a 19-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Ty Henderson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Drew Browning was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. Bryce Tolar was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Weston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .621. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Union Parish was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against North Caddo, falling 12-6.
Jayden Gatson led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and two RBI.
Weston pushed their record up to 14-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Union Parish, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
Weston got the 'W' when the teams last played on Thursday against Union Parish by a conclusive 15-3 score. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Farmers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
