Volleyball Recap: Harrison Gets the Win

Harrison won the last time they faced Weehawken and things went their way on Monday too. The Blue Tide walked away with a 2-0 win over the Indians.

Harrison never let Weehawken on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22.

Ryan Manini paced Harrison's offense, picking up 11 kills. Manini got some help from Anas Oufrid and his 24 assists. Manini was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Weehawken, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Harrison and Bergen Charter, after both having extra time off, will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. on the 27th. Weehawken does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
