Baseball Recap: American Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

American Leadership Academy lost against Summit Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bears by a score of 7-6. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Curtis Castleberry and Gaige Morgan did some serious damage despite the final result: Castleberry went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Morgan got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Aryn Moody was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

American Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Summit Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-12.

American Leadership Academy has already played their next contest, a 10-7 defeat against Providence Hall on the 23rd. As for Summit Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-8 loss against Judge Memorial Catholic on the 23rd.
