Trenton extended their postseason success on Saturday against Huron. They won by a run and slipped past the Chiefs 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Trenton got a great performance from Joel Mator as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over 5.1 innings pitched. Mator has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Trenton's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Crook, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
Trenton's victory bumped their record up to 28-9. As for Huron, their loss dropped their record down to 28-7.
