Volleyball Recap: Shoals Extends Winning Streak to Three

Shoals waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Crawford County Wolfpack by a score of 2-0. The Jug Rox were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wolfpack, so the Jug Rox were just returning the favor.

Shoals' offense was headlined by Albanye Crim and Brazelea Lents, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Rylee Bauer and her 18 assists. Haley Asbell controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Shoals' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Crawford County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Shoals didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Lanesville on the 23rd. As for Crawford County, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Mitchell on the 23rd.
