The Jal Panthers posted their biggest win since January 4th on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 63-43 margin over Tatum. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Jal has posted against Tatum since April 23, 2021.
Jal's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ito Arroyo, who scored 19 points along with six assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Arroyo has scored all season. Another player making a difference was A3 Rodriguez, who scored 21 points along with five assists and four steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Jal and bumps their season record up to 8-8. As for Tatum, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Jal on the road again on Saturday and play against Cloudcroft at 3:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Tatum, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eunice at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eunice presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tatum in New Mexico (Eunice is ranked 41st, while Tatum is ranked 133rd).
