The biggest upset of the week belonged to Hartford, who took down 207th ranked Hartford, 27-14.
Lawton extended the longest winning streak in Southwestern - South this week by beating Bridgman, 17-10. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
The Indians' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Luke Traver threw for 66 yards and Nick Goodson had 53 yards receiving. On the ground David Mireles chipped in 125 yards. Gareth MacMillan helped Hartford's passing attack out by catching one ball for 13 yards.
Watervliet's Jake Cowsert and Travis Bolin have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Cowsert has thrown for 1569 yards this season, while Bolin, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 37 catches for 872 yards. Hartford's Mireles leads the league in rushing yards with 1443.
Marcus Pompey has rushed for 968 yards on 119 carries so far this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Decatur takes on Lawton. The Raiders are currently in third, while Tony Karsen's team is in first.
The Panthers led Southwestern - South in scoring this week after putting up 39 points on the Panthers.
