The Spanaway Lake Sentinels will face off against the Bonney Lake Panthers at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many  points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
On Friday, Spanaway Lake came up short against Olympia  and fell  22-10. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Special teams was responsible for all of the team's points. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Peyton Martin, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Bonney Lake also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Yelm by a score of  16-6.
 Even if they lost, Bonney Lake's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks.  Cody Cano was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.
 Spanaway Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bonney Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
 Spanaway Lake didn't have too much breathing room in their  matchup against Bonney Lake  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with  a  27-21 victory.
