Vincennes Lincoln's defeat came about despite a quality game from Joel Sanders, who scored 25 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The match was Sanders' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Clegg, who scored 5 points along with 4 steals.
Meanwhile, Shoals' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 44-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northeast Dubois.
Vincennes Lincoln has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Shoals, the last time they won on the road was back last Friday. Having now lost three straight away matchups, they've bumped their record down to 1-3.
Vincennes Lincoln was able to grind out a solid victory over Shoals in their previous meeting back in February, winning 64-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vincennes Lincoln since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
