Softball Recap: Mangham Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Mangham won against Madison last Friday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Mangham Dragons didn't even let the Beekman Charter Tigers on the board, marking the Mangham Dragons' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

Mangham has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. Beekman Charter dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mangham will face off against Ouachita Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beekman Charter, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Delhi Charter at 5:00 p.m. Beekman Charter has given up an average of 13.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
