The Warner Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Horizon Prep 47-25. The win was just what Warner needed coming off of a 40-19 loss in their prior game.
It was another big night for Angel Carachure , who scored 19 points along with eight steals. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Omar Acosta, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Warner's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8. As for Horizon Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warner will square off against Ocean View Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Horizon Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Escondido Adventist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
