Brookfield Central suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Monday. Their rough 61-35 loss to Wauwatosa East might stick with them for a while. Brookfield Central has struggled against Wauwatosa East recently, as their match on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Dylan Romero, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Piurkowski, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Brookfield Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Brookfield Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.
Keep an eye on the arc in Wednesday's match: Brookfield Central have been dynamite from deep this season, having only drained 30.6% of their threes per game. It's a different story for Brookfield Academy, though, as they've only made 3.08% of their threes per game this season. Given Brookfield Central's sizeable advantage in that area, Brookfield Academy will need to find a way to close that gap.
