The Emmett Huskies and the Bishop Kelly Knights squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Emmett Huskies had to settle for second. Emmett suffered a tough 28-7 loss at the hands of Bishop Kelly. The low total for Emmett limited their streak of high-flying scores to five in a row.
Ryder Scheibe threw for 63 yards on four of 12 attempts. Kenyon Carter was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards. On the ground, Isaac Brennan rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown.
Emmett's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Bishop Kelly, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Emmett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bishop Kelly will square off against Pocatello at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pocatello is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
