Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morris). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 75-45 stomp they got against the Lisle Lions. Given the Redskins' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Lions are ranked 597th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Morris pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lisle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Morris has already played their next match, a 53-47 loss against Sandwich on the 27th. As for Lisle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-45 defeat against Hinckley-Big Rock on the 27th.
