The North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers came into Saturday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged Arnold out 68-65. The win was just what North Bay Haven Academy needed coming off of a 69-46 defeat in their prior matchup.
Gian Reville went supernova for North Bay Haven Academy, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Reville has scored all season. Cale Osborne was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Arnold lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Drew Moseley, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 assists. Another player making a difference was Roman Howell, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.
Even though they lost, Arnold were working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. This was only their 13th loss (out of 17 games) when they've passed the ball that well.
North Bay Haven Academy's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-20. As for Arnold, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-16.
North Bay Haven Academy will take on the Tornadoes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bay has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 269 points over their last four contests. As for Arnold, they will be playing at home against the Tiger Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Allowing an average of 52.2 points per game, Port St. Joe has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this game.
