The Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They blew past DRW College Prep 46-14 at home. This was payback for Noble Street College Prep, who suffered a 48-29 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Noble Street College Prep can attribute much of their success to Akari McPhee, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. McPhee continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Heidy Flores, who scored 4 points along with 3 steals.
Noble Street College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for DRW College Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Noble Street College Prep will challenge Cristo Rey Jesuit at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for DRW College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Golder on December 13th.
