Danielle Sypolt put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April of 2024 on Friday. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Lackey back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Sypolt has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
