Liberty County has struggled against Aucilla Christian recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Liberty County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Gabriella Flowers. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points. Flowers scored a full 51.9% of Liberty County's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Caleigh Peddie, who scored 6 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Aucilla Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lauchlin Faglie, who scored 16 points along with 8 steals. Riley Rutledge was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 3 steals.
Liberty County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Aucilla Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Liberty County will be playing in front of their home fans against Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aucilla Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Wewahitchka at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
