Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Horn Lake). They took their match on Saturday with ease, bagging a 100-58 win over the North Panola Cougars. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Cougars are ranked 132nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Horn Lake is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.2 points per game. As for North Panola, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Horn Lake will be home for the holidays to greet Fairley at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
