With a playoff game on the line, the Heritage Christian Eagles rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They breezed by the Achaeans on the road to the tune of 67-18. Heritage Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 23 points or more this season.
Mya Davis was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with five steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Heritage Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Taylor, who scored six points along with 13 rebounds and three steals.
Heritage Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Herron, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-9.
Heritage Christian will take on the Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Herron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
