The biggest upset of the week belonged to Kingsbury, who took down 237th ranked Frayser, 21-14. Eric Cole threw for 70 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
The Falcons moved up to 253 from 297 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AA District 15. Kingsbury was able to make the jump by beating the Rams 21-14.
Manassas's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jordan Pegues threw for 171 and two touchdowns and Randy Blackburn had 61 yards receiving. On the ground Melvin Bond chipped in 109 yards. Rayford Albright helped Manassas' passing attack out by catching two balls for 58 yards.
5-foot-9 quarterback Jordan Spencer of Trezevant is the league leader in passing yards this season with 468. He has also thrown nine touchdowns. On the ground, the Tigers' Bond has rushed for 888 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Derrick Hankins. The Kingsbury star has 14 catches for 197 yards.
The Bears extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Manassas, 30-24. The victory was the fourth in a row for Trezevant.
