With a playoff win on the line, Dripping Springs rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Canyon Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Despite the loss, Canyon still got an impressive performance from Gabriela Anna Etter, who had 25 digs and three assists. Anna Etter is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.
Dripping Springs has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 29-18 record this season. As for Canyon, they moved to 33-14 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-match winning streak.
