Eastside is 9-1 against Twin Springs since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Spartans will host the Titans at 5:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
On Tuesday, Eastside needed a bit of extra time to put away Rye Cove. They had just enough and edged out the Eagles 6-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Braelyn Hall and Emma Sartin were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Hall struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off only two hits. Meanwhile, Sartin pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the most strikeouts Hall has posted since back in March. At bat, Hall went 1-for-4 with three RBI, while Sartin went 1-for-4 with two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lexi Bond, who went 2-for-3 with two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Zoe Sartin was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Eastside kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rye Cove only managed four hits.
Meanwhile, Twin Springs came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the Blue Devils 3-1.
Like Eastside, Twin Springs also got a great game from a two-way player: Makenzie Gillenwater. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. Gillenwater has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, Aubrey Meade was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
Twin Springs' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Eastside, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.
