Nantahala's loss was their 14th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.5 points per game. As for Hayesville, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.
Nantahala will head out on the road to square off against Hiwassee Dam at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hayesville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Murphy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
