Baseball Recap: Bruce Takes a Loss

The Bruce Trojans came up short against the Independence Wildcats on Tuesday and fell 6-1.

Bruce saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden McCormick, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Bruce's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Independence, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season.

While Bruce had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
