In other batting news, Baylie Ciremele was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ella Moore, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Like Classical Academy, Liberty Charter also got a great game from a two-way player: Leah Urias. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Urias was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs and a triple.
In other batting news, Layla Montgomery was excellent, going 1-for-3 with a triple and a run. Kaiya McKay was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
