For Eastern Greene's part, Gavin Whitfield spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up six Ks. Whitfield has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Brenton Cook was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Kasen Cullison, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
