Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Loudoun Valley's strategy against Potomac Falls last Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Vikings blew the Panthers out of the water with a 51-6 final score. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.
Loudoun County better keep an eye on Ethan Lafollette. He was instrumental in Loudoun Valley's win, rushing for 218 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.6 yards per carry. Lafollette's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 142 rushing yards. Another big playmaker for Loudoun Valley was Macklin Gaffney, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Loudoun Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Braeden Mandichak, Gaffney, and Lafollette picked up one apiece. Mason Kirby was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks, making six total tackles (4.0 for loss), and defending one pass.
Loudoun Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Loudoun County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
Loudoun County came out on top in a nail-biter against Loudoun Valley in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, sneaking past 17-14. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Gaffney, who rushed for 78 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 157 yards on 11 of 21 attempts.
