After failing to score in their last match, Acadiana Home School Athletics made sure to put some goals up on the board against First Baptist Christian on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 7-0 shutout. Acadiana Home School Athletics might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting First Baptist Christian from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. John Michael Sheridan led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Acadiana Home School Athletics' win bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for First Baptist Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Acadiana Home School Athletics will challenge Midstate Homeschool at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for First Baptist Christian, they will take on John Paul the Great Academy on Thursday. John Paul the Great Academy's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
