On Saturday, Maryknoll faced Mid-Pacific Institute in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Maryknoll Spartans breezed by the Mid-Pacific Institute Owls to the tune of 60-26. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Mid-Pacific Institute still got an impressive performance from Logan Mason, who posted 17 points and five rebounds. The matchup was Mason's 12th in a row with at least 15 points.

The win was the fifth in a row for Maryknoll, bringing their record for this year to 23-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points over those games. As for Mid-Pacific Institute, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-18.

Coming up, Maryknoll will look to defend their home court on Monday against Kamehameha Kapalama at 6:00 p.m. Mid-Pacific Institute does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
