Honey Grove lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Dodd City, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's match. The Warriors blew past the Hornets 18-0 on Tuesday. Considering the Warriors have won 14 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Honey Grove, bringing their record up to 20-4-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Dodd City, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Honey Grove will welcome Collinsville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dodd City, they will challenge Whitewright at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
