Highland Rim Academy lost against the Christian Community Colts back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The contest between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Highland Rim Academy falling 41-23. They have not had much luck with Christian Community recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Christian Community's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alexis Myers, who scored nine points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Anna Nix, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Highland Rim Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Christian Community, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-9.
Highland Rim Academy will head out on the road to square off against Pleasant View Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Christian Community, Christian Community and South Haven Christian will face off at 6:45 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
