Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hiwassee Dam walked away with it. They took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 82-38 victory over the Starmount Rams. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 22 points or more this season.

Starmount's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Molly Swaim, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Cox, who put up two points in addition to eight rebounds and four blocks.

Hiwassee Dam has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points over those games. Starmount has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.

Hiwassee Dam will take on Albemarle on Friday. One thing working in Albemarle's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 games. Starmount does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
