Madison (Vienna, Va.) extended its winning streak to five games with a 17-3 victory over
Jefferson (Alexandria, Va.) on Saturday.
The Colonials pulled ahead on a field goal, and subsequently went into halftime leading 3-0. The Warhawks scored the winning points with a touchdown pass by

Ben Sanford that came in the third quarter.
Powers was the top performer for Madison. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns. He has now scored three touchdowns on the season.
MHS came in allowing an average of 18.4 points per game this season.
A 21-6 Madison victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
Madison (5-1) will play a AAA Liberty game against South Lakes next week, while Jefferson (3-3) will take on Fairfax also in a AAA Liberty game.
