The Humphreys Able Charter Legacy lost against the Stockton Christian Eagles back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Humphreys Able Charter had to suffer through a rough 70-33 loss at the hands of Stockton Christian. Humphreys Able Charter was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-16.
Stockton Christian was led to victory by Brandon Williams and Jayden Chamblee. Williams scored 21 points, while Chamblee scored 25 points. The game was Williams' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was McKenzy Escalante, who scored 11 points.
Humphreys Able Charter's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Stockton Christian, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Humphreys Able Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vanguard College Prep at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024. After both having extra time off, Stockton Christian and Turlock Christian will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
