The biggest upset of the week belonged to Summerfield, who took down 346th ranked Madison, 28-21.
Clinton added to the longest winning streak in Tri-County this week by beating Britton-Macon/Deerfield, 41-6. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Clinton's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. TJ Baker threw for 58 yards and Mathew Sexton had 42 yards receiving. On the ground Collin Poore chipped in 68 yards. Jared Sackett helped Clinton's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 16 yards.
Poore was the best running back in the league this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 68 yards as Scott Mcnitt's team bested the Patriots. Teammate Baker added to the ground attack by rushing for 67 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Redskins' Baker and Sexton have proven to be a lethal combination. Baker has thrown for 1,474 yards this season, while Sexton has 25 catches for 803 yards. Leighton Merritt from Britton-Macon/Deerfield leads the league in rushing with 1,349 yards.
A big matchup in Tri-County this week will be when Clinton takes on Whitmore Lake. The Redskins are in first place, while the Trojans are in fourth place.
Whiteford took down Sand Creek 54-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
