After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sterlington, Alexandria was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Those three runs gave Chumley a new career-high. Mary Claire Brinkman was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Alexandria always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Alexandria has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
