It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Piper had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 70-52 victory over the Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Piper's record now sits at 20-3. As for Shawnee Heights, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-4.

Looking ahead, Piper won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Highland Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland Park will roll in looking for their 24th straight victory, something Piper surely won't give up without a fight. Shawnee Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
